The Wolves welcome second-placed RB Leipzig to the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday 7 March (15:30 CET) in a battle between two in-form sides. VfL are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions (five in the Bundesliga, two in the Europa League), while Leipzig have not lost in their last five matches.

The Green-and-Whites have picked up 11 points from their previous five games in the league – only Bayern Munich (13) and Borussia Dortmund (12) have collected more in that time. That run of form has left Oliver Glasner’s team just one point off sixth place and with European qualification firmly in their sights.

Further facts and figures:

  • VfL salvaged a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Union Berlin in their last league game. The Wolves had trailed 2-0 but showed tremendous character to claim a deserved point.

  • That was the eighth time this season that VfL recovered from a losing position to claim at least a point – a league high along with Leipzig.
